The country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, is gearing up for the launch of its first electric vehicle, which will be the eVX SUV. Recently, another test mule of this forthcoming electric SUV was spotted testing in the wild. The main highlight of this recent spotting was the interior of the eVX being seen. It has been noted that the SUV will come with a very futuristic dashboard layout, along with a number of modern design elements and features.

Maruti Suzuki eVX: Interior design spied
This spy video of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki eVX’s interior has come courtesy of Bunny Punia. The video shared on Instagram shows the eVX test mule parked at the side of the road. The cameraman rides his bike towards the eVX and parks it next to it. The video then focuses on the interior of the eVX.
It can be observed that the eVX will have a very unique interior design layout. So far, we have not seen any Maruti Suzuki car with such a modern dashboard. It will be dominated by twin-connected screens. The one on the left will be the infotainment screen, while the one on the right will be the digital instrument gauge cluster.
At the moment, the exact dimensions of these screens are unknown. However, what we do know is that they will come with connected car technology, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. The video also shows the eVX will get a rotary knob for the drive mode selection.
Additionally, this electric SUV will also come with an electronic parking brake. Other highlights of the interior include a flat-bottom steering wheel, which also looks very modern. Apart from these, we can expect an automatic climate control system as well.
2024 Maruti Suzuki eVX: Exterior design
Apart from the modern interior, the exterior of the eVX will also boast a contemporary appearance. It will have bold proportions and will look very premium. The front will get LED headlights and DRLs. It will also get ADAS sensors and a 360 parking camera.
The side profile will also have a butch silhouette. The test mule was spotted with 18-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. However, they could be changed in the production version.
Meanwhile, the rear will get connected LED taillights and a sloping roofline. It will also get a decently sized rear spoiler. The overall styling of the eVX looks a lot more premium than any other Maruti product in the country.
Maruti Suzuki eVX: Powertrain and pricing
According to reports, the company is planning to offer 45 kWh and 60 kWh battery options with the eVX. It could also offer it with single or dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) configurations.
The 60 kWh configuration is expected to provide a claimed range of 550 km. In terms of pricing, the company could launch it in the sub-Rs 25 lakh segment. As for the launch, it will most likely be arriving towards the end of this year. Once launched, it will be competing with the likes of the Tata Harrier EV and Hyundai Creta EV.
