After unveiling the all-new 2023 Nexon earlier this month, Tata Motors has finally announced the pricing for this brand-new 2023 facelifted model. Tata Motors has launched the all-new Nexon with starting prices of Rs 8.09 lakh. The company has already commenced the bookings for both models. The model boasts an all-new exterior and interior design.
Pricing and Variants
Nexon facelift variants and prices
The all-new Nexon facelift has been launched in 7 variants. These trims are namely Smart, Smart+, Pure, Creative, Creative+, Fearless, and lastly Fearless+. The 1.2 liter petrol model will come with manual transmission in all 7 trims. The prices of this model starts from Rs 8.09 lakh and will go upto Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). After this there will the 1.2 liter petrol AMT variant which has been priced at Rs 11.69. The 1.2 petrol with dual clutch automatic transmission has been priced at Rs 12.19 lakh and will come in Creative and Fearless variants.
The company is also offering the new Nexon facelift with 1.5 liter diesel engine and its manual transmission variants will come in Pure, Creative and Fearless trims. The price of the diesel model starts at Rs 10.99 lakh. Lastly there will be the 1.5 liter diesel engine Nexon facelift which will come with AMT transmission and it will come in two trims the Creative and Fearless. The starting price of this model is Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Exterior Upgrades
The entire exterior design of both the Nexon has been given a complete overhaul, and it now looks a lot more modern and futuristic. It gets a brand-new split headlamp design with LED DRLs on top and LED headlights on the lower section of the bumper. Overall, the front has been made a lot more aggressive and bold.
The side profile of this sub-compact SUVs mostly remains the same. However, it gets a brand-new set of 16-inch alloy wheels. These wheels now boast a much more futuristic-looking aero blade-style design. Moving on to the rear, the Nexon facelift gets the same updated design. This includes a much more aggressive and prominent bumper with a massive faux silver skid plate. The main highlight of the new rear end is the new Y-shaped LED taillights. The new taillights are now connected as well.
Interior Upgrades
One of the major highlights of the all-new Nexon facelift is the all-new interior layout. The car now gets a new minimalistic design that draws inspiration from the upcoming Tata Curvv. The new dashboard is dominated in the middle by a brand-new massive 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other important highlights of the new interior are the cleaner and simpler air conditioning vents, touch-based HVAC controls with two physical toggle switches, an all-new 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, and lastly, a new dual-tone scheme.
Features
In terms of features, the new Nexon facelift also gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a nine-speaker setup, and ventilated front seats. In addition to these, the car also gets features like an air purifier, ambient lighting, a wireless charger, cruise control, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, a 360-degree camera, blind-spot monitor, and six airbags.
Engine and Transmission Options
In terms of powertrain options, the new Nexon facelift gets two options. The first is a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine. This engine will generate a maximum of 118 bhp and 170 Nm of torque. The other option is a 1.5-liter diesel engine. This engine produces 113 bhp and 260 Nm of torque. In terms of transmission, both engines will come with manual and automated manual transmissions (AMT). On the other hand, the turbo-petrol variant will also come equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic as an option. The dual-clutch automatic transmission will also get paddle shifters.
