He adds that the car now gets a lot of standard safety features and also gets a new Era base variant.
Engine and transmission options
Following the introduction, the presenter starts off the video with the engine of the car. He first opens the bonnet of the new i20. He then mentions that the car comes with the same 1.2-liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine. He adds that this engine produces a maximum of 83 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque when mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. After this, he mentions that the car also gets the same engine with an IVT transmission. In this configuration, it makes around 88 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque.
Exterior updates of new 2023 i20 facelift
Moving on, the presenter shows the exterior of the new i20 facelift and mentions that the car gets a slight change on the front. He mentions that the new 2023 model now gets a completely redesigned front grille along with black surrounds, giving it a more sporty aesthetic. He then shows the newly designed front bumper which features arrow-shaped air functional vents. Lastly, he mentions that the car does not get fog lamps in any variant.
After this, he also adds that the Hyundai logo has been shifted from the grille to the top of the bumper, and it is now much bigger. Moving to the side profile of the car, the presenter states that it looks exactly the same as the outgoing model. The only difference he mentions is the new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheel, which will be offered only in the top-spec Asta and Asta (O) variants. Lastly, he shows the rear end of the car and mentions that it gets the same Z-shaped LED taillights. However, the major difference in the rear comes from the new gloss black element in the new rear bumper. It also gets a massive silver skid plate.

Following the exterior, the presenter then moves to the interior of the new i20 facelift. He mentions that the car comes equipped with the same design for the dashboard and gets the same exact infotainment system and digital instrument gauge cluster as the previous model. He adds that this has been done in an attempt to provide a more airy feeling cabin.
